I have just returned from spending three weeks in snowy Iowa. Quite a difference from a San Diego winter. It’s really nice to get out of your usual seasonal scenery on occasion. I love the beauty of a snowy winter landscape. Not to mention many of the animals the dominate the winter terrain. I give you a preview of the images from my snowy stay. I hope everyone is having a pleasant winter. I know the east coast has been getting quite a lot of winter weather and, from growing up in Pennsylvania, I know that it can really become tiresome dealing with the snow and ice. Amidst all of that, try not to lose sight of the beauty of a snowy winter. It wasn’t until I lived in San Diego for a few years that I realized how much I took snowy landscapes for granted.
